Updated October 19, 2026. The Jujutsu Shenanigans Halloween update is scheduled for October 23, 2026, according to the game's Roblox event listing. The event subtitle is “Golden age of jujutsu,” but the public listing does not yet provide a complete feature-by-feature patch note. New characters, moves, rewards and modes should not be treated as confirmed unless developers publish them.
Quick answer: The Halloween update is listed for October 23. A new playable character has not been confirmed in the official event description available at the time of writing. Treat social-media leaks as unverified until backed by developer announcements or in-game patch notes.
When does the Jujutsu Shenanigans Halloween update start?
The Roblox experience listing advertises a Halloween update with the subtitle “Golden age of jujutsu” for October 23, 2026. A separate event guide reports a 1 p.m. Eastern / 10 a.m. Pacific start, but check the live Roblox event page for the time displayed in your region because event listings and countdowns can change.

Which new characters are expected?
The safest answer is that no new character is confirmed by the public event description itself. Community posts have speculated about a curse-manipulation character and changes to existing characters, but community speculation is not the same as a developer announcement. We will not present a leaked name or moveset as fact without official confirmation.
Players should watch for a developer announcement, an official update log, and the character appearing in the live game. Promotional artwork can hint at a theme, but it does not prove a character is playable or reveal the full moveset.
What could the “Golden age of jujutsu” subtitle mean?
The subtitle suggests a theme tied to the game's sorcery-inspired setting, but its exact meaning has not been explained in the public event description. It could refer to a story theme, character content, or simply event branding. Those are possibilities—not confirmed features.
Before spending Robux or planning a long grind around a rumored reward, wait for an official list of unlock requirements and event currency. A teaser title alone does not establish which rewards will be free, limited-time, or paid.
What should players check before the update?
- Check the event page: Confirm the countdown and event start time on the official Roblox experience page.
- Read patch notes: Look for exact character names, move changes, balance adjustments and bug fixes.
- Check reward requirements: Confirm whether items require event currency, quests, gameplay progress or Robux.
- Leave room for hotfixes: Early patches can change balance or fix issues after launch.
- Be cautious with leaks: Screenshots and community posts may be incomplete, edited or based on guesses.
