The 2026 adaptation of Treasure Island is rolling out on different streaming services depending on where you live. In the United States, the six-part adventure premieres on MGM+ on October 11, 2026. In the United Kingdom and Ireland, it arrives on Paramount+ on October 12, with episodes released weekly. The correct service depends on the country where you are watching and the local rights arrangement.
Quick answer: Where can you watch Treasure Island?
- United States: MGM+, including supported standalone and partner-channel options.
- United Kingdom and Ireland: Paramount+ from October 12, 2026, with weekly episodes.
- Other countries: Check local streaming catalogs and announcements from rights holders. Availability elsewhere may not yet be announced.
These are the confirmed launch arrangements in the official regional announcement. A service that carries the show in one country does not necessarily carry it in another.
How to watch Treasure Island in the United States
US viewers should start with MGM+’s official website or app and confirm the current subscription options for their device. The series is also listed through supported partner-channel arrangements, including MGM+ on Prime Video where offered. Check plan details before subscribing because trials, prices, billing terms, and channel availability can change.
Use the official MGM+ website to check availability, sign-up terms, and supported devices. If you subscribe through another provider, check that provider’s listing rather than assuming every package includes MGM+.
How to watch Treasure Island in the UK and Ireland
Paramount+ UK and Ireland announced the series as an exclusive launch for those territories from October 12, 2026. The six episodes are scheduled to arrive weekly, with the final episode due November 16. Check the regional Paramount+ page for current plan prices, supported devices, and account requirements.
Start with the official Paramount+ website and the service’s Treasure Island series guide. If you already have access through a participating TV provider, check your account benefits before paying for a separate subscription.
What if you are outside the US, UK, or Ireland?
Do not assume the US MGM+ catalog or the UK Paramount+ catalog is available in your country. Streaming rights are territorial, and the same title can have different release dates—or no announced local launch—depending on the market. Search the official streaming services available in your country and look for announcements from Paramount+, MGM+, or the production and distribution companies.
If no local service is listed yet, the safest option is to wait for a licensed release announcement. Avoid unofficial streaming sites that promise free access: they may carry unauthorized copies, deceptive download buttons, intrusive ads, or malware risks. A legitimate service’s availability and terms are more reliable than a third-party page claiming to have every episode.
Can you use a VPN to watch it from another country?
A VPN can change the apparent network location of a device, but that does not change a streaming service’s licensing rights or guarantee that a title will play. Services may restrict playback based on location, account region, payment method, or their terms of use. Before using any VPN with a streaming subscription, review the provider’s current terms and the laws that apply where you live. The most dependable route is a service licensed to distribute the series in your location.
Is MGM+ different from Paramount+?
Yes. MGM+ and Paramount+ are separate streaming services, and their catalogs, subscription plans, and regional rights are not interchangeable. The new Treasure Island is a Paramount+ UK and Ireland and MGM+ US original, but that does not mean every subscriber in every country will automatically see it. Always check the service’s local catalog before signing up specifically for this series.
The show is a six-part reimagining of Robert Louis Stevenson’s 1883 novel. Tom Sweet stars as Jim Hawkins, Hayley Atwell plays Bess Hawkins, David Oyelowo plays Long John Silver, and Jack Huston appears as Aaron Graham. The story follows Jim and his mother after they become involved with Captain Flint’s treasure map and board the Hispaniola.
